Options for the Pawsitively Perfect Collar & Leash

Hardware

Only 100% Stainless Steel hardware.  Why you might ask?

Plated metals often chip and wear off, especially the black and rainbow coated.  Dog parents are so excited to get a gorgeous leash or collar only to find the coating has chipped, scratched, and worn off making their gear look old and cheap.
Doesn’t tarnish or turn green and doesn’t discolor materials it comes in contact with.  Harder than brass and virtually indestructible.  Much stronger than aluminum or plastic.
Antibacterial ~ HypoAllergenic and very easy to keep clean.

Designers often underestimate or overlook the values of Stainless because of what is viewed as the higher initial costs. However, when taking into consideration the longevity, durability and lack of maintenance needed, Stainless is often the best value option.

August 2017 ~ The $20,000 30w Fiber Laser Engraver arrived!  The ability to deeply, permanently engrave Stainless Steel allows me to offer you custom designs on Snaps, Buckles, Rivets, and Keepers.  Although normal engraving machines can barely mark the surface of stainless steel, my fiber laser engravings are deep, crisp, and don’t wear away over time.

Beta Biothane

Biothane is manufactured in Ohio. It is used by NASA, EMT response teams, the NFL, horse harness makers and in many medical fields.
AntiBacterial ~ AntiMicrobial
Maintenance Free ~ Waterproof
No conditioners are necessary.  It does not mold or mildew and doesn’t absorb odors.
If your collar or lead gets soiled, no worries! Just wash in soapy water, rinse, and wipe off excess water. Biothane dries instantly and can be worn/used immediately.

Crystals

The Crystal Rivets are manufactured in Austria.  The crystals are securely cradled in and firmly backed by Stainless Steel.
I do not use rim sets or rose pins.  While that limits the intricacy of the designs I can offer, the trade off in durability is worth it because most of the dogs I make collars for are not couch potatoes and fussy, fragile collars aren’t appropriate.
The science of the cut and the celebration of crystal as high art come together and make these Xirius crystals the most brilliant ever created. Named after Sirius, the brightest star in the galaxy, the gemstone-like cuts and rich colors have combined to produce an exceptionally durable new generation of crystal.
From across the room, or from across the field, glittering winks of color are a constant source of beauty.

Stainless Name Plates

Name Plates are available in four sizes from Large to Mini.  They are marine grade quality 316, which I don’t believe you can find elsewhere.

I fasten them permanently to your Collar or Leash with Stainless Steel rivets.

If you have a favorite font that you want used for engraving, don’t hesitate to ask.

Deeply and permanently engraved with a 30w Fiber Laser so your text won’t fade or wear off over time.  Not stamped or merely surface marked.  Your text is carefully and thoughtfully placed for perfect balance.

We all think that it couldn’t happen to us, that we are too vigil.ant and conscientious for our dogs to ever get lost. But it happens to even the most dedicated, loving dog parents. Car accident, kids playing pranks, a gate left open by a neighbor…tragically, it happens. Even if dogs are microchipped, a name plate with your phone number will help get them back to you quickly.

Leashes, Tracking Leads & Long Lines

The proper leash makes life so much more pleasant!  From the ideal lead for Nose Work to the absolute best long line for Tracking, you can find it here.  Whether you want a blinged out leash, a utilitarian training lead, slip lead or a simple tab handle you’ll love the quality of my leashes.  Of course all are durable and waterproof because they’re crafted from biothane and have 100% stainless steel hardware.

Lengths from 3′ to 90′ are available.  When it comes to a dog’s safety, I always overworry and therefore overbuild.

If you’re ordering a long leash, consider adding one of my Leash Minders to help keep it neatly rolled and tidy when not in use.

Collar Sizes

I frequently view pictures of dogs in thick wide collars and their parents love how fashionable they look.  Many choose the wide collars because there’s lots of room for bling. All I see is an uncomfortable dog.

There are also those who think they must have thick and wide for strength and durability.  Because Biothane has 1000 pounds of pull strength per inch of width, you do not need a heavy thick collar in order to have a secure collar.
Collars are available for your dog in 5 widths.  1/2″ – 5/8″ – 1″ – 1  1/2″ – 2″
