You’ll enjoy how this 1″ wide leash feels in your hand and you’ll appreciate how easy it is to clean. Your choice of Stainless Swivel Snaps ~ Bolt or Trigger
It has a minimum tested pull strength of 1000 pounds per inch of width and is crafted from Biothane & Stainless Steel. The handle and snap are each secured with 3 stainless steel rivets. I do not recommend this size leash for small dogs.
When you want a truly waterproof dog leash, you want Stainless Steel. It’s such a waste to make a waterproof Biothane leash and then use plated or coated metal hardware that will chip, tarnish or rust.
This Waterproof Leash was designed to match many of our Collars & Martingales.
You can find them here: Matching Collars and Martingales
Crafted from Beta Biothane with Stainless Steel Hardware
AntiBacterial ~ HypoAllergenic ~ Maintenance Free ~ Waterproof
Will never crack, rot, or stretch ~ Unlike leather, no conditioners or oils are necessary
Does not mold or mildew under any conditions
Does not absorb odors ~ Whatever disgusting gunk your dog finds to roll in, it is not a problem. Just rinse and pat dry or air dry
Has a minimum pull strength of 1000 pounds per inch of width and is 20% lighter than leather.
Stays supple in cold weather ~ Does not feel gunky in hot weather
Looks and feels like leather but simply outperforms and outlasts leather
Once you have owned a Biothane leash, you will never again want leather or nylon
I do not use plated metals because the plating chips and wears through to the base metal over time
I use only Stainless Steel for these reasons:
Stronger and Harder than Brass
Virtually indestructible, with inherent long-life properties that do not diminish over time or repeated use
Does not discolor light colored fur
Well-known for its antibacterial, hypoallergenic and hygienic properties, stainless steel is very easy to clean
Widely used in dining flatware, food storage and even in the most sterile surgical environments
Does not tarnish and is highly resistant to stains, rust, and corrosion
Designers often underestimate or overlook the values of Stainless because of what is viewed as the higher initial costs. However, when taking into consideration the longevity, durability and lack of maintenance needed, Stainless can actually be the best value option.
