This Lead is 1/2″ wide and has 100% Stainless Steel Rivets. If you want a truly waterproof dog leash, you want Stainless Steel. It’s silly to make a waterproof Biothane leash and then use plated hardware that will chip, tarnish and rust.

The length you choose is measured from the tip of the handle to the D-ring on the other end. If you order a 48″ slip lead, and your dog’s neck is 16″, the total usable length of your leash will be 32″. The handle has 8″ of length for your hand to comfortably grip. (16″ doubled)
If you opt for the laser engraved rivets, your Keeper will also have an engraved rivet on both sides.
Why so great for rescue and transport dogs? We never know what these pups have lived through and what might frighten or startle them. Once spooked, they will backup, roll, try to get away and pull out of the collar. A slip lead insures this won’t happen.
If a dog gets startled and wants to escape by rolling or twisting or backing up, the slip lead tightens and provides you control while you calm your pup.

The sliding d-ring on this slip lead glides smoothly as it loosens and tightens. The Keeper is snug and secure.
Afraid of passing cooties from one dog to another? No more. This is Hypo-Allergenic, Anti-Microbial, and Waterproof. Wash in soapy water, rinse and it’s dry in under a minute. Minimum tested pull strength of 500 pounds.
