Because these are crafted from Beta Biothane and Stainless Steel, they are WaterProof and OdorProof. When you want a truly waterproof dog leash, you want Stainless Steel. It’s silly to make a waterproof Biothane Leash and then use plated metal hardware that will chip, tarnish and rust. Unlike Brass, Stainless Steel does not turn green or discolor the material it comes in contact with.

You choose from the 3 stainless steel swivel snap styles that can be seen in the pictures. If your dog isn’t large, you’ll prefer the petite stainless snap that won’t clank against your dog’s knees or hang like a heavy anchor.
If you opt to have a handle, it has 8″ of length for your hand to comfortably grip. (16″ doubled) You are welcome to add a fixed d-ring or floating o-ring to your handles. Let me know by leaving me a note as you check out.
This leash is lightweight but durable and strong. Perfect for Tracking, Nose Work, and safely Teaching Off Line Obedience.
If you’ve chosen a longer length, consider adding a “Leash Minder” shown in the pictures to keep it neat and tidy when stored. It is 1/2″ wide Biothane with Stainless Steel rivets and clip.
How can I ship so quickly? I keep a HUGE stock of Biothane here so you don’t have to wait for me to receive the biothane from a distributor before I can make your order.
Distance Markers:
Current AKC Tracking rules state: “The handler will follow the dog at a distance of no less than twenty (20) feet
except during the TDU or VST test where the handler may follow the dog at a distance of no less than ten (10) feet.
Distance markers are measured from the Snap end of the leash, not the Handle end.
If you would like permanent stainless steel rivets, as shown in the above photo, placed as distance markers at 10′ or 20′, leave me a note in the “Order Notes” box as you make your purchase. The last picture shows you where to find the “Order Notes” box.
