What’s great about Martingales is that you don’t have to keep a tight collar fastened around your dog’s neck to ensure safety. Martingales lay loosely around the neck and only tighten when an attached leash is tugged.
Unlike Choke Chain collars, there is no chain cutting into the very vulnerable area under the neck.
