Every collar/leash/martingale is lovingly wrapped in pawprint tissue, carefully garnished with pawprint ribbon, and has a Collars by Kitt logo tag attached. I can add a SMALL gift message to the back of the tag if you would like, such as “Love, Aunt Jill” or “Happy Birthday to Sophie”
I keep thousands of feet of biothane here and do my own laser engraving so you can count on prompt shipping.
How Long before I get my order?
It varies depending upon how many orders are ahead of yours. Leashes generally ship within a few days.

If there is some unusual circumstance (you forgot a birthday for example) send a message before ordering and I’ll let you know if I can help.
My goal is for you and your dog to be tail wagging happy. Every collar and leash is made to your order and is not returnable. On custom orders, I send you pictures of your design layout before anything is permanently attached and you are welcome to request changes as our design progresses.

No there’s never been a sale and you’ll never receive a coupon. I’m fortunate that dog parents keep me too busy to think about reducing prices. I have a Class 1 30w Fiber Laser Engraver. It’s power deeply and permanently engraves stainless steel. It does not just surface mark or lightly emboss. Inexpensive engravers are fine for brass, aluminum and plastic but only a powerful Fiber Laser can engrave Stainless Steel. I can pretty much engrave any image and hundreds of fonts so if you have a font request, don’t hesitate to ask.
It’s doubtful that you will ever need a warranty, but rest easy knowing that I warranty all collars and leashes against defects in workmanship, hardware, fasteners, and crystals. Common sense dictates what can’t be covered. Examples would be “Gee, I spilled a can of red paint on the collar, soaked it in paint remover and now it doesn’t look great” or “Ooops, I ran over the leash by mistake”, or “Uh Oh, our dog used the collar as a chew toy”. You get the idea, right ?
I will do everything possible to make sure you are tail wagging happy. If a collar or leash is mistaken for a chew toy or attacked by a garbage disposal, I will do my best to resuscitate but there will be operating room fees.
If your dog has decided to dig in the mud, or roll in something funky, simply wash in soapy water, rinse and wipe off excess water. Dries instantly and can be worn immediately. Please do not use abrasives like Kitchen Klenzer or Steel Wool on the Swarovski Crystals. A gentle liquid dish soap, like Dawn, is perfect for Biothane and Stainless Steel. Bleach is not a good idea.
While beta biothane does not need the maintenance and conditioning that leather requires, and it will not fray or wear like nylon, please do always check everything before using your collar and leash.

Love this collar - it fits my rescued pit bull Skylar PERFECTLY and is ideal for going in the pool or the ocean because it's not leather (though it looks like it and feels like it!) -- the added "bling" is so realistic that Sky's swim therapist freaked out about getting the "crystals" wet! I also love that her ID is permanently on the collar part so it can't fall off while she's swimming! Love the seller, too, who does a lot to help the many pit bulls in need out there in shelters.

The collar is even more beautiful than I imagined. Jaw dropping sparkle and shine was my reaction when I opened the pretty wrapped package containing Ruger's Collar by Kitt. The collar is so well made, and having a dog who thinks rolling is fun, thrilled it can be washed clean! I also have found this collar with the nameplate is really well balanced not turning around the neck. Beauty, practical, & durability is hard to find, but Kitt has put it together and I am thrilled she did!

This collar is gorgeous! You can customize it by selecting the style, color & medallions to design the exact collar that you want. And despite your individual specs, it will still arrive very quickly. Your dog holds you accountable to do right by him/her & this is the perfect way to allow them to project a preferred image with a quality collar. Hi Kitt, The Biothane leash I ordered for my Australian Cattle Dog Iselin arrived today!!! I LOVE it!! It is beautiful and well crafted, and I love the color Orchid-which looks great against Iselin's coat (she's a Blue ACD).
